Pamungkas - Walk the Talk

Pamungkas - Walk the Talk

people know my music taste is indiepop, which belongs to c86, tweepop, and sarah-ism. but there is an indiepop album will be my forever favorite, even thought it does not belong to my usual subgenre preferences.

walk the talk is one of the doors that led me to indiepop world, circa 2018. as a teenager (under fifteen years old), indie was a complicated concept for me with many debates. then, pamungkas released that album which he did everything–write, produce, mix, master–made me understand what indie was in the past.

listening walk the talk album in this year reminded me of my life in 2018/2019, when i was teenager studying at junior high school. independent cafes played indie music, including walk the talk album.

i introduced walk the talk to my friends, but most of them were not happy because of who pamungkas was at the time. in the end, after to the bone exploded on the internet, they know about it.

i can’t explain why i’m in love with this album. poor me to did not write my feelings. if someone were to create an album with the same concept as walk the talk, i’m not sure will like it.
